We continued using our senses as we discovered the world of bugs. We listened, read stories, and wrote about bugs and insects. It was fun to compare and contrast the many bugs around us.
On Friday, we took a walking field trip to the Museum of Nature and Science where we took a closer look at bugs and got a back stage tour of the live beetles in the museum. We also checked out the human body exhibit, and took a closer look at how are senses are controlled by our bodies and mind. Kindergartners loved all the hands on activities that the museum had to offer.
We concluded Friday with our Halloween parade and classroom party. It was entertaining to see all the disguises. Kindergartners enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with their peers. A big thank you to all the parents who made our classroom party such a success. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful community of families and friends supporting the growth of our students. Thank you for all your support! We love you!!!
